Delete Account
You can permanently delete your Style My Scent cloud account and its associated cloud-backed data.
Delete in the app
- Open Style My Scent.
- Open the Cloud account panel.
- Choose Delete Cloud Account.
- Review the warning and choose Delete My Cloud Account.
When the in-app deletion completes successfully, the authentication account and account-owned active cloud records are removed.
What is deleted
- Your authentication account.
- Cloud-backed Collection and wishlist records.
- Cloud-backed journal entries and saved scent combinations.
- Cloud-backed preferences.
Device-local data
Because Style My Scent is local-first, deleting the cloud account does not automatically erase copies stored locally on a device you control. Remove local entries in the app or uninstall/reset the app if you also want to clear device-local storage.
If you cannot access the app
Email from the address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing a manual deletion request. Verified requests are handled as promptly as reasonably practicable.
Limited retention
Limited technical, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or backup records may remain for a limited period when required by law or by provider infrastructure. These records are not used to restore an active Style My Scent account after deletion.
